Default after much tweeking and help from crappie.com'rs

Well after nearly a year of ownership and practice, i finally got some descent pics from my 998.

In the first one, you can see what appears to be beds with some fish above. What would cause the tree that you can see just above and to left of cursor to look like its been "brushed" and not solid even as it casts a shadow?

The second shot is a close up of what appears to be smaller sized fish ( i think crappie) with the shadows showing them up off bottom

The last pic is the full SI view of the above school of fish stacked up. I was bass fishing this lake ( its only 80 acres) and left all my crappie stuff at home, but im going back with my spider-riggin stuff to catch a few!!!!!

also, there is no way that water temp was that warm yesterday, it must be reading what it was in garage during playback. Water temp yesterday was about 43 degrees

Either way, those are great HB screen shots. Would be even better if they were full size.

Hold down the Control key and tap the + key. Each tap will enlarge it.

You are correct Tom....the HB unit does not record the water temp (even tho this has been on the HB wish list for some time)...

Because you were taking snapshots from a recording while in the garage...the temp probe was, in fact, reading the ambient temp of the air when you took the snapshot...

After you had imported the .PNG snapshots from your SD card to your pc....did you use the CC forum's attachment uploader tool (to get them into your post) or did you use an online picture manager like photobucket...??
