I like the tomato seed jigs. They look pretty good......I'd love to have one w/ a red hook.
We are calling the Tomato Seed and Bumble Bee and want to know what you guys in here think.

i think the only opinion that matters is that of the fish! if they like'em, they'll sell. i usually ty up a bunch of different color combos and use them when i get in a bunch of fish to see if they will catch'em. most people won't try sumthin new til they ain't catchin any... the way to test them is when ya know the fish are hittin ya favorite color!
bumbelbee looks pretty cool, but both should work fine for crappie
They both look pretty good to me can't wait to hear how they do.
Hope your lines stay wet and your livewells full.:D
As you know, great reviews on the tomato seed color, different jig maker on TFF. Many people swear by it, the bumble bee is a good color on Lake Stamford in the Spring.
Mud-Dabber
Hi Mud-Dabber, yes that other jig maker is where I found out about the tomato seed, but didn't know really what colors it was until I put my eyes on it if you know what I mean.
you use some strange lookin' hooks, do you bend the throat like that or buy em that way. if you buy em what brand are they?
thanks .... dmann
They are Sickle hooks made by Matzuo. I like them for a couple of reasons, they come sharp and have a little bigger gap. I also fish with Power Pro 10-2 and that is enough to bend the hook if hung up enough to get your jigs back. Not always, but most of the time.Originally Posted by dmann436
