Very safe to run, dark stained water but clear, Look for the flotilla of boats.

Some like Lakeview hotel and there is a few campgrounds as well. I have heard good things about Georgia Boys fish camp. Not sure on places to eat, maybe pontiac or one of the other locals will come along and get ya pointed in the right direction.

Lake View is where some of us are staying this weekend About The Lake View Motel, Crescent City, Florida There is a restaurant close by called Bananas that I hear has good food....This is my first time at Crescent also...I'll be there late Friday morning.

What part of Middle GA are you at?

Watch out for crab traps/buoys. Some of em are small and dark colored and hard to see in the daylight when the waves are high. Wouldnt want to try to spot them in the dark but that's just me.

I run wide open in the dark morning. The trick is to put a very sharp edge on your prop blades.
