Those are all good; but so is Priest and Old Hickory (staying near I-65). If you want to head a little east you pickup Douglas, Tellico, Watts Bar, Chickamauga
I'm looking for a new lake to fish this spring. I live in Southern Illinois. And usually travel to Ky Lake or Barkley. Just wanting to somewhere new this spring. I have thought about Weiss or Pickwick. But would love to hear some suggestions. And what time would be best for your suggestion.

Rend, Carlyle or even Shelbyville and great lakes to fish without have to travel too far for you. Where about in S. Illinois are you from?
Lets go soak a line. Pat
I live four miles from Rend. My dad and I always take a week off in the spring and fall to fish. Just looking for somewhere new this year. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
Not knowing just how far you want to travel, but Lake Ozark here in Mo. is just hard to beat in the spring.
Lots of Illinois folks down here in Ms in the spring...Don't know why???
