The forecast has this coming up weekend at 57F for Sunday. That will definitely help melt the snow and ice. In about 45 days or so it will be open water again. Time to break out the boats!!

Down here in God's country they are calling for 59 F on Friday 10% rain chance, and 65 F Saturday!
I am off work Friday! First boat trip of the new year I hope.

I am thinking Tucker or Ferdinand, any advise?

Hiked along Patoka today and the bay I was at looked awfully fishy...still a little bit of skim ice but that should all be gone tomorrow.

I am glad we aint got those problems up here in "God's natural lake country". Ice will be fine at my haunches......and dont anybody be running a boat through any ice up here..........against the rules up here where men are men........and sheep run scared!!!!!!!!
