A slip bobber tip

Take a float like a trill that has a hole threw it and if it is a slip float ,cut bead off of it and either get another bead or use that one you cut off and get a small sewing machine needle and put in drill ,then use neddle to drill small hole in the side of bead and smooth out ,then with neddle in bead to line it back up on float tube and glue it back ,then you can use sewing machine thread to make a bobber stop which will be little going threw line guides and the hole will be small at bead that is glued to bobber and will stop it,also if possible have a rod with a tip with big eye

It sounds to me like a way to reduce the size of the string that is used to set the depth therfore reducing the amount of drag going through the guides when casting?

I done something similar for years, the best thing about it, it will keep grooves from wearing in your float, preventing your line from sticking.
