    Can't give you any first hand advice, but from what I've heard and read, its more of a catfish/carp lake fed from the river.

    I live within 15 minutes of Hovey. Years ago was pretty descent. But, now a days it's hard to catch a limit out there. Lake is real shallow. Bring ur mud motor and come on down.
