    updated 998c.......scroll speed is a lot faster than it was beforeand on simulator tells me no gps signal......788 lost all my snapshots

    I'm hearing a lot of posts at the other forums discussing this scroll speed issue with the new updates...

    As of yet...it seems it may be tied to the 360 parts of the upgrade...but no one is for sure yet...

    You might think about reverting back to your previous version of software ...especially if you're not interested in the 360 stuff....

    Also, your 2nd question... Snapshots and recordings are never saved to the unit memory...snapshots and recordings write directly to the SD card....

    Yeah the chart speed is fast in 998..... but i took my mapping ccard and sd card out before i restored defaults .... they were not in he 788 when i updated

    pulled the sd card out of the 788 plugged into the computer and the snapshots are still on there
