Hey Hanr3, I went out yesterday late and got a few nice gills and planning on going again tomorrow morning. Let you know how I do. We barely got enough ice to walk on down here so we have to be careful.
Lets go soak a line. Pat

You northern guys need to increase your spring and fall daily limits and buy larger deepfreezers so you don't have to get out there and fish on the ice !! I love to fish as much or more or the next guy, but them fish ain't never made me mad enough at em' to go chasing em' around on no ice !!

They sure do Taste Good coming out of that Cold water.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

P-row, thats a good mess of fish
arrookie, we use ice fishing as an excuse to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors, besides, it keeps your beers cold too.
hanr3, got to the pond yesterday and the brother-in-law got to the middle of the pond and we always use a rope when the ice is thin so I started out slowly, 1st step ok no cracks, 2nd step the same, made the 3rd step and went through the ice, water over the top of my boots, brother-in-law said oops thats it grabbed the rope and quickly made it back to the bank. O well no fishing so we grabbed a rifle and went looking for coyote to shot.
Lets go soak a line. Pat

    That's a good one!

For you warm weathered crappie friends i could see how you would think were nuts , but living in the cold zone its what we do to still have fun catching fish, If i couldn't fish all year i would go crazy
