Hey Everyone... Here is the report... :-)

With the weather being wet and cold we didn't leave Highbanks until about 930 this morning. Drove forever and went to a different boat ramp because we didn't want to have to deal with Crescent Lake proper in this weather (dangerous probably like HS said) so we drove around to St Johns Park and launched on the North end of Dead Lake. We didn't actually get poles in the water until about 1130. Trolled across Dead Lake details deleted by request ended up catching 35 and kept 22 but we didn't get any bigguns. nothing over 14 inches... probably not even a 14 incher. But it was so much fun because we stood at the back of the boat and the fishing was consistent. We would start talking and then a fish would hit. All in all a great day and we really didn't expect to catch many at all with the weather being so bad. And being in the smaller part of the lake kept us from the big waves and and wind. It didn't even rain on us, just misted a little once or twice.

Here is a picture of Terry towards the back of the boat watching the poles (supposed to be watching them).

Here's Dead Lake... a couple of boats on the horizon... foggy and misty most of the day but since it's smaller it wasn't so windy or wavey.

Here's the Double Clicker counter app on my phone that we used to keep track of number of fish caught (35) and number of fish kept (22... all over 11")

And on the way home we stopped at a boat dealership and drooled over boats.

Here is the one Terry wanted....
