    Default Dip Net Holder?

I used a piece of pvc bolted to my console on my old boat for a net holder and it worked like a charm, but I don't think that arrangement will work on the new boat I have on order.

What net holder do you use? Why? and how do you like it?

The other person in the boat. They usually aint catchin' fish anyway, might as well have em' doing something. I love it... Gives me someone else to blame if a fish gets off at the boat.

Good Idea but seems like I spend most days on the water by myself so that won't work in my boat either

Do you fish from a raised front deck ? Bass boat style ? If so, what I usually do is just lean it up against the edge of the deck. Allows for quick and easy access and keeps it up off the floor. I don't spider rig though, if you're spider rigging that may not be as easy. For me, single pole jigging or casting, I treat it just like when I'm bass-fishing... One step to right or left and I can have a hand on it. I use a collapsable style net, so during transport or when the net isn't in use, I store it underneath. So, I don't actually have a "net holder", which is why I didn't have a more helpful answer in my original reply !! Ha !! Hope you find something that works for ya !! Or atleast a fishing partner that doubles as a good net-man !!

Make one from PVC that slides over the seat post...like a big "H", net goes in the other vertical pipe and stays behind the seat always "there". No holes and take-off anytime with no evidence it was ever there.
