    Hey, that way they don't need no stinkin livewell or ice chest. Pitch em on the ground and they keep fresh all day.

    Good catch, havn't tasted any crappies through the ice, I bet they are very good. We caught about 40 gills yesterday at a local pond.

    Good catch.....Have been on the ice for a little while and catching mostly gills. Our crappie bite doesn't turn on until Feb. and goes until we don't dare go out anymore. So far our ice season has been slow and the size is not running the best. Have a good day. STEVE
