Geez...I've sold so many of these Elites I don't have time to surf the net anymore.....

To answer your questions, the mapping is a base or generic map program on the Elite 7 units. You may want to add the Lake Insight HD Pro card or a Navionics HotMaps Premium or Fishing Hots Spots map card.

The transducer that comes with the unit that is available now, is the 83/200/455/800 khz so it has sonar and down scan built in. You will have options on other models coming out to get just the fishfinder w/sonar, ChartPlotter only and choices of 83/200khz or 50/200khz transducers if you don't want or need the down scan.
