The water is wet, and there are fish in it.

My son Jeff and I went jiggin' this morning. Caught 5 nice ones and 10 or 12 small ones. Chart. sparkle over white done the best. Very few fish on each top. 6 to 8 feet deep in 10 to 12 feet of water.

Talked to a couple fishing the same depths on brush and they did about twice as good using minnows. Lots of small shad and top water action. Looked like white bass.

Bad hot by noon!! Just had to take a dip before fishing the last few tops to stay cool.
