Just wondering if anyone else who owns a Merc, has the low oil warning sound go off when moving around at trolling speed. I don't know if is not sending enough oil to motor, or, just making the noise. Has anyone else had this problem, or know of a fix? I would really like to be able to troll.

mine done something similar, except it stayed on all the time even though it was pumping oil. Had the sensor replaced, no more problem. Don't remeber how much it was but do remember it wasn't much. Mechanic said they sometimes just go bad.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if a good cleaning would help the sensor? This one does not go off until I have ran about 5-10 minutes at lowest speed possible. It does not go off during idle either, only when underway at a trolling speed.
Oh, and Billbob, it is still a great motor. Thanks again for letting this poor Okie purchase it for such a bargain!
