Got a boat and need a fishin' bud at the last minute?

Hi, I live in Lee's Summit and no longer have a boat. If any of you guys need someone who you can call at the last minute to go fishing ... well ... I am ready. Day or night. Any local lake.

I am more of a serious fishin' type guy. I like to hunt for the crappie and will try anything to catch them.

If not ... heck I just wanted to say hi.

I'm WAY across town (just west of Gladstone) and fish Smithville 90% of the time. Usually fish weekends but have a day off during the week as well.
Would like to try Truman and some of the Kansas lakes. Game for some nightstalking too.

I've fished for crappie for several years but have a LOT to learn... Read all I can but would appreciate fishing with a more experienced partner.

You can keep any crappies that I catch, I have pleanty in the freezer.

We had a pretty good time last night. Thanks to mduncan62 for letting me come along. I got to meet his son who is a fine boy. Dad is going to make a fisherman outa that boy.

I lost count of how many short fish they caught. It was pretty easy to count mine ... uh ... on one hand. I kept telling the boy that he was out fishing me 30-1 ... 30 -2 ...etc.

We fished the opening of a cove off the main lake. The weather was perfect all night but all we caught were dinks. mduncan62 will have to break it down for you.

We are going again this Saturday night. We are going to hit a small lake that I fish alot.

I got three pretty good spots to fish and a few that might do well.

We are going to find out.
