Default Friends from across the world.

Just this last September (end of Sept), I went to LaCross Wisconsin for Oktoberfest and met some new friends, Tom and Ann. They were a long way from home. They were visiting from Scotland and we got to talking about fishing. They live on a bay right near the ocean, and fishes in the ocean, in rivers, and in lakes. They have it all there, and they catch a lot of nice fish. Well, he just shared with me some very nice photos.

Look at the head on this monster.

This is what he told me about the trip:
"We fished for four hours on a remote Scottish Loch and caught seven fish, the smallest was seven pounds and the heaviest two were 26lbs and 29lbs "

Wow, that sounds like a blast. He says he's joined the site. Let's hope he starts posting some of these stories about catching fish in Scotland. It's always neat to see how they fish elsewhere. Might give us some ideas.

    Thanks for sharing Tom (toony).

Big Fish! Gotta be cool for them to come here and follow their fishing passion. I meet folks from everywhere and all walks of life doing my job, and ask most everyone if they fish. This big world is smaller than we think, this post is proof. Good job Slab, always good to hear from new friends.

That's awesome. Looking at that thing if the body matched the head it would be a real monster. Neat to get these people from other countries on the site.
