    Default Planet Mars and fishing...History making coming up in August...


    Mars is supposed to be closer to earth August 27 this year than any other time in history. Wonder how this will affect fishing? You should see Mars in the sky late evenings in August and Mars will appear as big as the moon. May not happen again for another 60,000 years. Anybody got a good link on this event?

    I don't believe Mars will ever appear big as the moon in the sky. Mars is so far away, it will not have any influence on anything.

    i think that was in 2003 that happend...august 27th 2003...could be wrong...

    That is the second time that this hokum has appeared, its bunk, mars will still be hard to see, and it will only be as big as the moon, if you are getting ready to land on it. By the way, if you are going to land on it, either send me the recipe for that cocktail, or tell me were you'ere getting the smoking material!!!
