Default I am another New Guy.

    Hello,

I am a new member to the forum. I ran across this site during a google of my favorite fish. I look forward to learning more about catching big crappie.

Has anyone used the Wally Marshall Spider Rig rod holder. I think it holds four rods and mounts to a permanent base on the boat. I have used the driftmaster system before, but I have recently bought a new boat and wanted to rig it right. Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

Welcome from Kansas. I believe the Driftmaster system with the ROUND top(not flat) piece could be the best one out there. <*)}}}><

Welcome, I had looked at the W.M. one, and I have to say that it looked a little cheap to me. I can't put that much faith in a bunch of plastic. I could be wrong, but have to go with the gut feeling. I'm almost positive that you aren't going to break the metal ones.

You'll learn plenty from the guys on this site, most are top notch. Just watch out for canepole, he's a real prankster.
