how many of you crappie fisherman still use tube skirts if you no longer used tube skirts which plastic baits are you using to fish with your information would be very helpful to me.

I have used Tube Skirts, Baby Shad, Twister tails, & the Lake Fork Shad Still catch Crappie on all of them

I still use tube skirts. Occasionally use curly tail grubs.

I mostly use tube skirts but I do have a couple of feather tails I want to try sometime.

Early and late in the season I use tubes a lot, but the past 2 seasons I've better luck on BG Baby Shads. I've tried the solid bodied tubes and they're OK, but if the crappie are on a tube bite, chances are the Baby Shads will produce equally as well. During the warmer months I prefer action tails; the curly tail being my all time favorite. Right now ice has pretty much taken over most of our ponds, so I've got to wait until March now.

Used to use tubes all the time. Almost never use them now. Bobby Garland, Panfish Assassins, & Crappie Magnets work for me. All of these are solid plastics and you can usually catch several fish before having to replace one. Crappie seem to like them too.

I used to like tubes, especially used with the bait pump with crappie nibbles in them. Thought it made a big difference.
