Default Could you evaluate this Rig for me please

Hey guys, I'm heading to Eufaula Crappie fishing on Saturday with my Dad (69) (Me 46) and this will be the first time I've tried Spider Rigging, I think most of you have already helped me already on that. Anyway, I want to get a bunch of Rigs tied up before we go to save time on the water but I don't want to tie a bunch and find out on the water that I'm doing it wrong. So, could you evaluate this for me before I begin pre-rigging my behind off?

    Thx

That should work for trolling. A Capps -n- Coleman rig would be great for vertical fishing. A slip bobber rig is great for depths under 15 feet. A Kentucky rig is great for deep water fishing. Here is a thread where members posted their favorite setups.

That rig is just fine......use a egg sinker and loop the line through it several times to hold it in place. egg sinker size? well it depends on your jig weight.....I try to rig mine where my total weight jigs and egg sinker is around 1/2 to 5/8 oz. So I use a 3/8 egg sinker and two 1/8 oz jigs. Speed....from .2 to .5 mph by GPS.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

That will work just fine. As you go along you will refine your Riggs to suit different situations.

Will work but..... I have found that the bottom hook or jig will tangle on the weight when the line is that long below the weight. I like no more than 8 inches of line below my weight. From the swivel down to the weight is 32 inches right now. I shorten that line when fishing shallow waters.
