    Default Eagles

It's always great to see eagles while fishing, but I have a hard time getting good pictures. This is an enlarged clip
of my best effort, but I'm sure others have done much better. Who can share some good eagle shots?

It was a stretch for my point & shoot camera plus as much enlargement as my graphic editor could do without turning the clip into a newspaper-quality picture. Someone using a better camera will have much better shots.

Hello all, First post on this forum, here's a shot of an eagle from last summer in Michigan.

    Crop of the same bird.

In my opinion, the biggest difference in your shot in the first post and the shot I just posted is the amount of sunlight on the bird. Your shaded shot is really tough with a P&S camera's flash.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Eagles normally don't let you get close enough for a good shot unless you have a powerful zoom. Using a long zoom, of course, increases the likelihood the image will be blurred.

There was a bald eagle fishing in front of the cabin yesterday.... No way to get a pic with a phone while he was in flight. Pretty sight though.

Eagle pics are one of the reasons I asked for a new camera for Christmas. My sweetie got me the camera but I haven't to where the eagles are yet.

Yes, I fish like a girl. If you tried a little harder, you could too!!
