Maybe sinking braided fishing line with a fluorocarbon leader would work for crappie fishing. Any thoughts?

All braid sinks with a heavy enough weight attached to it. A "sinking core" braid is not in my future, but others might find a use for it.

Suffix 832 is a type of sinking braid, using a special material in the braid. Been on the market for a couple of years. Works well with jigs & plastic. As well as for drop shotting. However, it is expensive and I'm not so sure it's all that "value-added".
