Great Day On The Water Today

I had a great day today, got on the water at 6am with a very slight wind from the south
and a good cloud cover. I went to a spot where I normally catch them but the last couple
of times I hadn't caught any. Water temp was 55° I was in 12' of water and dropped a minnow
about 6' deep. Just took a minute and the float went down on the first rod and then on the second
rod. I caught about 6 or 7 and decided to try a jig, they bit it just as good so I dropped back to one
minnow rod and a jig pole, here's one on the jig.

I fished till 8:30am, the wind had been out of the south to southeast and at 8:15 it shifted
to the east and they shut down. I had a mess so I called it a day. I ended up with 35.

Here's the finish product ready for some grease. A lot of the people I give fish too will
enjoy these. Even the yellow jacket was enjoying them.
