congrats to all who fished, next time it will be better, them big ole black crappie will be waiting on y'all.
I left St Louis at 4:00am in the rain for the tournament. Not raining at the lake when i arrived. Was hopeing that the sun would come out during the day but the wind picked up and it just kept getting colder as the day went on. Charley41 and I fished mainly docks and everytime we thought we had that tournament crappie it turned out to be a white bass or a green carp. Thanks to SeeJimFish for setting up the tournament and buying a new scale. The only problem was that our 1lb fish turned out to be only 3/4 lb. He will need to have the calibration checked on that scale. This was the fish time that Charley41 and I fished together so we did pretty good. We would have did a litttle better if the sun would have come out and pushed the fish back under the docks. There were only four boats but the tournament was on short notice. We will have another one mid January. Here are the results, Doc Shooters team won total weight with 6.15 lbs. Kevin 266 team won big fish with a 1.25 lb slab. We all had a good time telling how we fished and what area they were caught in. Thanks to Jim for setting it up and all that attended. Get signed up for January tournament because all the black crappie will be in the docks waiting for ya. LSL Angler.

I enjoyed the heck out this get together. will be there for next one..
Good job guys anyone get pictures?
Any tournament held in cold weather months are usually low draw on the numbers....... see the same thing on every lake.. but like when we have one, the ones that fish it have a great time and that is what it is all about...... glad you guys enjoyed the windy and cold day..... we have had tournaments in march and couldn't get 7 boats, so no big deal, time of the year thing........
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
sounds like you all had a good time,I've seen a few of those fish that shrink when you get to the scales.
Had a good time once again even though fishing was tough thanks jim for putting it together. The ol lady wants to fish the next one so maybe we could get some other coeds
will fish for food
Congrats everyone, tough day out I am sure. But I bet it was quiet out there.
