    11" starter fish from yesterday.

havent had time to get out, so i had to search to find them yesterday. the usual spots were either picked clean or abandoned. one section of res. had huge schools along the channel edges. dont know why they were there. there wasnt any structure that i could see on the finder. maybe they were hammering shad schools that were mixed in with them? some of the schools stretched from the bottom(17ft) up to 6ft under the surface. at first i tried vertical jigging them with only a few light taps. so i backed away, thinking maybe they wanted a horizontal presentation. that was it! i tossed jig past school, let it sink to bottom and run it through as slow as i could. gota love that thump! lol ended up catching 30 craps and 15 or so little bass. lure was 1/16th jig with silver flake B.G. baby shad, juiced with power bait. water temp was 42 at start and 39 when i pulled out.

there ya go guys. who is going to be the first to knock me off top? lol
