Pomme Report - 12/4/12

It's been a while, a long while, it was nearly unbearable so I headed out this morning. Two of us started fishing at 8 and quit at 11. The results?? Two limits of very nice crappie, 28 fo the 30 were over 10". The bite was real good, surprised by the fact a front came through last night bringing us some rain. Fished main lake brush18-35 fow, 14-30 feet deep. All fish were caught on jigs - white, blue, smoke, magic minnow, black/chart. The water temp was 51 and water was pretty clear.


Take advantage fo the nice weather this week! Go get 'em.

way to get em brad! we fished some new water (for me at least) last saturday and did pretty good. got some new baits we tried. they worked great. chartreuse has been hot for me for a while now.

nice going, sounds like a great time on the water, I sure picked a lousy 2 weeks to get sick,,, oh well I have a good time reading all y'all post on the great trips to the water, congrats. and go get em soon.

Sounds like a good trip Brad. I still need to get you up here on Truman for a day. I run into your old partner every now and then at Everharts. He was at the fall show showing off the new duck boats. Maybe this spring you two can come up and do some rigging with me.

Sounds like I need to give them a try, besides, my crappie beds have been multiplying and I need to get some into the water.
