Well went to Surgen today and he said everything is fine. Now for the bad news, Can't lift anything heavy or strain, therefore, I will not be able to fish on Dec 15 at Lake Talquin. I'm thinking of riding to Monroe and fish with the Monroeians, I should be able to catch those smaller fish.

You shouldn't have any trouble at all down there with the small fish they have.....But is it really worth the drive???...Glad to hear that everything is looking good for you otherwise...Maybe we can use CG1's technique and Skype with you on the 15th...Almost be like being there

Well I have decided to head to Talquin, will use heavy duty fishing reels/rods.......should be able to winch the Talquin Slabs into the boat.

THat is pretty funny stuff. I doubt I'll be able to make the slabfest, but I think Monroe will prevail this year. The biggins are moving in to Monroe as we speak. Glad you're feeling well Curtis.
