Yep, Frogg Toggs. They roll up and fit in a small bag for storage and don't take up much room.

Save a while until you can afford some Guidewear. Spend your money once.

for about $200 you can get a goretex suit when its on sale, never get wet again.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Boots, cold weather, and rain gear I never go cheap on....but that's me. I have been wet for extended periods of time in some really crappy places.

Gortex works well until the treatment wears off then it needs to be retreated with products like DWR but it never comes back to 100%. For just casual use for under a $100 shop ebay for some lightly used good quality Gortex.

Me....I am sold on Patagonia's rain gear.....buy once cry once....an extra $100 or so will sound cheap when your seriously wet and cold

Frogg Toggs are Great if you don't use them a lot. If you use them a lot in a years time spend the extra $$$ on top quality

I don't think you need to spend that much on a rain suit, unless your looking for insulation as well. I have had several different pairs of Frogg Toggs and am less than impressed. I bought a pant/jacket suit made by Coleman of Amazon, I've had for 3 years or so and its the best I've ever had. Think I gave 40 bucks for it.
