Fishing styles varied with first 2 positions.
Winner,used Deep-South 10 & 12' rods,
single jigged, spider rigged, minnow
tipped, working bends in river bottomed
lake. Ron's zip jigs & Crappie Hooker Ice
Jiggs were the ticket in 12-20' water,
10'down. Second place long-lined with
Shakespeare Micro-Lite Rods, charlie
Brewer slideres, AWD triple tails on 16th
oz "swimhead jigs" hand painted in 6-9
ft of water

2nd: Team: Craig Harwood/son Matt
1 lb. 4.0 oz.
(2) Two positions paid for "7 fish total
catch weight"

8 lbs. 1.0 oz.
With a 20 hp restricktion lake, winner
did quite well with trolling motor, working
waters within visibility of ramp
This was last scheduled tournament of
2012 season.
Nex tournament will be Florida State
Championship, FCC Classic on 15,960
acre Lake Crescent, Crescent City, Fl.
Saturday, December 8th, Public Ramp,
Thirty (30) teams have qualified to fish.
Water flows into the St Johns river,
average depth of 8-13 ft, various holes
reaching 22 -28'. With the slight influx
of salinty of St Johns River this makes for
individaul catch weights in excess of 2 lbs. It took 12 lbs, 9oz to win classic of
2011. (1 lb 7.0 oz. plus average weight
for 7 fish stringer)
