For starters, who just got a new digital camera?

I bought a Fujifilm XP this spring, it's water, shock, dust and freeze proof. My old Kodak took too many shots. Haven't really got the hang of it yet. Seems most electronics today don't have very good manuals. They think everyone was raised in the 21st century.

Richard, I have the camera that you recommended and it has surely been a good one. However, I would really like to know about a camera with GPS.

I could see that being useful when the lakes are low. You could take a snapshot of cover that would be normally under water and have a waypoint that could be transferred to your Sounder..

That's for sure--and I'll add the "manual" for my new Garmin GPSMap 78 to the list. Maybe we can pool enough C.c experiences and knowledge to fill in some of the gaps left by the camera manuals.

Why not take a picture with your gps enabled smart phones and it will put it on the map auto for you. As a waypoint?
