I was working on the boat dock, and Honey was after the leaves. I can find all kinds of reasons (not excuses) to not rake leaves. Fish first, work later.

I've got 40 acres, never seen much sense in raking leaves, I'd never git done! I figure the good Lord is laying down there for a reason so I better not spoil his work. It does help that the house is on top of a knob, so nature sorta takes them away from the house area.

I got a good wife she takes good care of me and she makes my boat payments - I can't get her to tackle those leaves yet - oh well as long as she keeps paying for the boat

Heck my wife found the boat and wrote the check for it and tells me I need to get out on the lake more. Even when yard needs mowing and when leaves are covering everything except the vehicles and the boat...LOL. I finally got me a REAL KEEPER.
