crazy lights--any ideas will help

Not sure I want to post this as everyone will think I'm wacky...

Lately I've noticed something weird when pulling my boat and trailer during daylight hours. When I hit the right hand turn signal, several of the lights on my dash blink right along with the blinker (radio blinks, digi odometer blinks and shift indicator blinks). This does not happen when I signal for a left turn nor does it occur when the boat is not hooked up.

Help me out or send the rubber truck to get me!!

Check the ground on your trailer wiring harness. Sounds like it might be a little loose or maybe rusted.

You might also check the lights on the trailer. I have seen some daul element light bulbs that the element for brake light breaks and lays on the element for the tail lights. When the brake lights(turn lights) are lit, it back feeds through the tail light element and back through the dash lights and marker lights on the tow vehicle.
