Default can I make it as cheap

I searched to see if I could find any information on making fish formular. No luck!! I tried to get some ingredients to make fish formular. Bought Garlic salt and went to purchase cod liver oil. Cod liver oil approx. $7.94 for 12 ozs, garlic salt approx.$2.50. over $10.00. I could buy Bang spray(shad/ crawfish) for $7.96. Anyone have a good home made potion recipeto share. Does it do any good? My brother uses COFFEE, says it works. What do you think. Am I wasting my time. thanks for any input.

I think it's cheaper just to buy ready made. Have used Glycirin and Anise oil, along with Garlic powder back when I bass fished but haven't priced it in a long time. I used it mainly to keep plastic baits lubricated an to mask odors from my hands as I smoke and know it has to affect them.

cod liver oil, oil from sardines, anise, garlic salt and a few drops of vanilla all mixed up seem to work for me.

If you can hold out until the Spring fishing show sales, the big box stores BPS, Cabelas usually have it on sale. Check out Grizzly Jig or Monks if an attractant is needed now.
