Default Today I spent some time with my number 1 fishing partner

Snuck about two hours of fishing in this afternoon with my best fishing buddy...my son. We loaded the boat after Church and headed to Cotaco Creek. We through jigs only. 1/16 oz jig heads (chartreuse) with BG monkey milky and crystal baby shad baits. My son did toss some white maribou jigs (1/16 oz). Mostly stripes today...a bunch of them, again. In two hours we managed 10 Crappie. 5 were keepers. Big fish was 13". My son caught a 12". A beautiful day on the water. Water temp was 54 degrees. God is good!

Great day on the water anytime you can take the offspring out for some QT. I enjoy the way it has come full circle with me and mine. I will also have a hard time accepting a four stroke because the sweet aroma of a two stroke brings back so many great memories of being the one in the front of the boat.

Nothing like making memories with family!

    Very cool! Thanks for sharing.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
