The bnm bucks gold series jig pole is very ight feeling and has as much if not more sensitivity then the sams super sensitive. Its a little more pricey but i actually prefer it over the sams

I have the Bucks Best Ultra Light with rear or bottom reel seat in 10' and it is super light and sensitive but not alot of back bone. The 10' model is a smaller diamiter than the 11'or12' so I would think they would have more back bone. I don't have a problem getting fish hooked with it but it's got some bend to it. I really like it when fishing all day because it's so light and I like the rear reel seat but if you want to use it in a rod holder you will the the regular handle.

Just bought one from Grizzly when we made the trip back up from the sippy fall camp. I oughta know this, but will havta look at the pole again. It's a 12' and super light. They matched it up with a nice level wind reel so it's balanced real nice. I'll look tomorrow and post the info.

Try getting a hold of a Sam Heaton in 9' and a BGJP in 8'. I have 2 of the BGJP and want a pair of Sams rods bad. These balance very well and weigh very little. I don't know of any longer rods that don't come with some degree of fatigue. I move my hand forward til I find the balance point and find that even the smallest tap is felt easier than when the muscles in the forearm is flexed. Braided line also helps me feel every little thing.

I like the Sam Heaton poles too.they are suppose to have a rear reel seat model new sometime soon I haven't seen them yet but I'm looking for them. I just bought a couple of the ozark poles like meatgetter is talking about. It's a nice pole but best of the best is a stretch in my opinion. But it's definitely worth a look.
