    Default Smirhville rough and slow

Got to the lake late, 11:00 a.m., windy, cool and pretty vacant. Fishing was rough and real slow. Had to hunt them down. Hasn't been this slow in a long time. Just Jerkin managed 2 over 9.25 and one over ten as did I, we ended up with just ****6**** keepers!!!!!!!!!!!! Pitiful day.Name: IMG_0744.jpg

6 keepers is better than being at work and not on the lake. Them slow days make us appreciate the good days.

Seem like it would be a nice day out on the lake. Were you guys using minnows or jigs?.

6 Keepers = Lunch. I've had crappie fishing days soooooo bad on Smithville it made me appreciate the fact that I just like to catch fish and don't mind fishing for other species
