MA forum is dead

i don't understand. why is the MA forum so dead? posts are so far and few between.

I think most folks look to the more specific forums dedicated to this state, i.e.: MaAnglers.com. There are some good crappie fishermen on that site and most are willing to share local info. Not saying that you can't get it here, but I spend most of my time here in the main crappie forum above. Rarely even think about this one!

Most fisherman around here don't even know what a crappie is, let alone target them ("oh, you mean calico's?" lol). Trout, striper, and bass fishing are far more popular. The nice thing about it though is us lowly crappie fisherman get the pristine slab water all to ourselves
