    Default Lake St Louis crappie

I have been painting the house for the past three weekends and this saturday. Was thinking about painting today some since there was going to be wind gust of 40mph. Went ahead and hit the lake, started catch single big crappie at the front of dock that the wind was blowing into in about 3 feet of water but mostly dinks after that till i moved to the next dock. Got snagged up so grabbed my pole that i was using at truman fishing with Jared, had a big orange jig head with chartruse, silver body and it was game on. They seemed to like the bigger bait or the orange jig head. Once i headed out a little deeper i was pulling three or four nice ones from ceratin docks. What a great day but then the rain blew in and had to head back home. I let go another 10 over 10" and must have caught about 40 dinks. Looks like fish tacos and beer tonight. Name: DSCN0420.jpg

Looks like a nice mess of fish. Glad you finally got to get out after all the painting. Hard to beat that Orange head and I really have done well with that Silver Glitter/Chart Mid South tube the last few months.
