    Default Aqua View Fish TV

Been thinking about getting one and would like some opinions on it if you have used one. This is the model I'm looking at.

They are useless, unless your in clear water. Waters around where I fish are always stained, or murky, a buddy of mine had one, and you could see a couple feet out, and thats about it.

I have the Cabelas version in 7" and they are fine if you have very clear water. Depending on how you use it (ice, boat) consider a clamp of some sort to prevent camera spin from the cable.

Seems like the problem may not be the product but rather the (pond) water. Up nort' here, some lakes are pretty clear so a camera like this would make more sense - for ice fishing especially since you are not moving around as much as in a boat. Something about...the right tool for the right job, I guess.

might be better off getting a DI unit for just a few bucks more, they work no matter what the water looks like.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I bought a Marcum VS620 last Winter for ice fishing and we had no ice so I'm still waiting to use it! I might give it a try on the next calm day and see how it works in open water...Name: 527323_2578766365568_1524826056_n.jpg
