Default Hypothermia Something to be thinking about.

I seen this on the main forum and thought it would be good to repost over here with all the winter time fishing we do in MO. Make sure to wear the life jackets and have a ladder just in case. I know a few members who have taken a cold water swim in the last couple years here on truman. Always a good idea to have an extra change of clothes in the boat to change into also. I have extras in mine along with several sets of rain gear in several sizes. They are not much but may keep some one warm long enough to get back to a ramp and warm truck.

    Good info to know.

This time of year i keep my cell phone inside a ziplock in my pocket. They don't work if they get wet.

The lift on the Motor can help raise you back in the boat if it has the up/down buttons on the side. I pratice this a few years ago because i fish alone and during the week maily when thiers not a lot of people out there fishing.
