Sever Lake 11-4-12

I got to fish with Catman and Fishroper today at Sever Lake. We ended up keeping 37 between the three of us. Threw back several short ones. Really didn't look to see the depth of water, but we caught most about 12-15 feet down. I'd guess about 18-20 fow. Very few nice thumps, but most just were just there. Weather man kind of missed the mark on partly sunny. Think the sun shined through the clouds about 20 minutes total. Think we used most colors sold in stores except black

Thanks for the report, was thinking about going later this week. Were you using just plastic or tipped with minnows?

We all used jigs, but there was a fellow in the same are of the lake using minnow, and catching also

How far is sever from Edina? Just wondering if it's the same sever lake near our deer hunting farms.

KingKrappie. Sever is in the southeastern part of Knox County. Probably about 15 miles from edina, maybe a few more.

Yeah that's it, I'm up there every year, matter of a fact I'm headin up tomorrow, we used to stay close enough to ride a 4wheeler to the lake, now we have a house outside Edina but our friends have "camps" down the road from lake. You live in Gods country my friend!
