    Default Sammy Slabs

I went out to Sammamish to try and get some largemouth and some smallies and had a crappie follow back my jig from a brushpile, so I threw a crappie jig in there and 35 minutes later had 24 slabs in the boat. Then I went to my smallie spot and whacked them. Biggest was 3.5lbs average was 2lbs. I got them on a dropshot nd a beaver on a leadhead.

    Hey Bassin,

What depth of water was that brushpile in? Just wondering if this is submerged brush or shoreline structure your fishing. :-)

It was in about 12 feet of water. And its a little bit of both half the tree is on shore and the rest is about 50 feet out on a flat.

Maybe, it shouldnt be hard their is all sorts of trees that are down if you look for them, and a lot of them hold crappie.

Yea, the maybe as more of where I may find it, I'm a southender but I may get enough time this weekend to head up there, I hope. We'll see and if I do I'll be using the info you shared to look for some crappies.
