Hate to say this but the Gravois will not be much better. To many houses and bars on that arm of the lake to keep it calm. If you for sure want to go in the gravois head over to the upper end. There is a ramp right there off of HWY 5 in gravois mills. I would try to be there at dawn or earlier and be off by 11 or 12. When you put in head down the south bank there are several brush piles along the bluff. Then after you head down there is a large cove on the left head in there and fish the right side of it along the bluff also. This is all within 1/4 to 1/2 mile of the ramp.

Ted has you in a good direction.
Hit all the docks in that cove especially the ones with no roof.

The cove where Lakeview Resort is (11ml marker) used to have all kinds of brush, especially around their boat docks. The cove has a real shallow point running across a third of it. It's been a long time since i've been there, maybe bugman, Ted or Gee has fished it. Seems like there was a public ramp right around the point too, but don't hold me to it. The Carpenters used to have their tourneys out of there...izzy

I have no idea either to clear of water. I fish 17-24mm and gravois arms.
