u picked an absolutely beautiful day
Hit Milford at 7am after dodging a couple of bucks hot on the trail of a doe!!! Ducks were flying everywhere when I caught the first fish of the day, a nice 13" fatty!!! Fished until 3 and caught many dinks and kept 9 fatties between 12 and 14 inches long!!!
After cleaning the fish and putting the boat away I grabbed the 0wt Sage flyrod and headed to Cameron Springs for the trout opener!! I caught several rainbows including one "Golden" colored trout!!!
I'm worn out...I can't wait to do it again tomorrow!!!

Nicely done. I miss fishing for those Kansas crappies. Do you ever fish Tuttle Creek? or Pot 1 (county lake)
Blues and w's up around the corner. Never did crappie fish, but kept a 20# to try out for dinner tomorrow. Nice day for fishing
All lakes raise a foot when I step in the boat
Great job Joe! I'll be on Milford for the first time ever in a couple weeks. Now I have no excuse if I blank!
