    Default Boat speed with V2

I got a heck of a deal on a V2 Powerdrive 50 lb. just wondering how fast it will pull my 17 ft Xpress x17 with a 50 yammy on it. I had a motorguide 67 lb and it pulled it 1.2-1.4 in 1.

You should be at least 2.5, pulling cranks I would run 2 batts parrelel and a kicker on the back for a couple of hours and could pull for 8 hours or so. Little tip if you are going to pull cranks, raise the big motor all the way out of the water and it will help big time, lot of drag with the big motor down.

Yea I did that on my smaller boat when I had it. I run 2 parallel anyway now that I converted from 24 to 12. Had to slow down some.

The copilot is a great add on and you will love it, I use the auto pilot a good bit on mine but none of the other features so much. Speck when the bite slows some I will use the spot lock a good bit too. Good luck, you gonna love it.

I'd hold off on the co-pilot. When the new I-pilot link comes out in a month or 2, folks are probably going to be upgrading. You might find some goods deals on used I-pilots cheap!
