Smithville bite?

I HAVE to get out... would most likely fish the camp branch rocks/docks... any bites happening??!!

Catchem 32 posted a thread about Longview docks and thought Smithville might be getting good, alhto he said the Smithville docks won't be open for fishing until Nov 1

It was pretty slow last weekend Vic. My wife and I caught a few dinks around the Collins Rd bridge, but nothing at all off the brush piles off that rip rap. Reports from our slipmates was that action of the dock was slow and mostly dinks.

Well it's got to start improving soon....haven't heard what water temp is right now, but as soon as we cool down just a bit more, I think the fish will start congregating

As I recall last weekend it was in the low 60's as far as water temp.

I was gonna say, I think it was 57 or 58 last saturday, but I was upriver. Main lake where Bruce was might still be warmer?
