I just did my tail lites with the Mothers day before yesterday. Came out ok by hand and I didn't put a lot of effort into it. Would probably do a real good job with buffing ball mothers sells just for that.

I bought some Blue Magic headlight restorer from Walmart. Didn't do much. Stopped by Autozone and asked the guy there about the products. He said some are better than others but most are a waste of money and none will get them bright and clear like they claim.

Yesterday I wiped one of mine with acetone. It took all the yellow and dirt off. Then wet sanded with 1000 grit and then 2000, and finally the Blue Magic. Not much work and the difference from the one I didn't do was amazing. Did the other one, out last night and my lights are noticeably brighter.
