Some things are too important to sit home and wait for. Hope the fish cooperate for them.

    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Well, after posting that, I thought, "Heck, I didn't come here to set in the bus!" From my warm seat next to the window, I thought the water even looked a bit calmer than the past couple days.....So, once I load my gear, slip into my raingear, off I go in the Kayak.

Spent 2.5 hours on the water, did manage 2 of the nicer 'gills I've caught since getting here (even had the wild idea I just might get half a dozen for supper). Long story short, released the 2 fish, came back wet and freezing. got into some dry clothes, put on a pot of coffee, and turned the heat up. I ain't steppin' back outside 'til tomorrow!

Anyone who caught fish here today (and I hope they did) earned 'em! Said hello to a couple guys who passed by in another boat, he said he wondered if any of us had any sense, I told him I felt the same.

Hahaha! I went out on Sardis this morning. Rain, cold, 25-30 mph wind, 3' rollers...we caught fish too! You never catch them on the couch.
