Cuivre River @ Old Monroe?

Anyone got any updates? Crappie biting?

I just bought a pontoon last week that I keep down on Dardenne Slough and I was going to try to get up the Cuivre slough on Saturday but went up to Cedar Hill instead. If I go out this afternoon, I may give it a try. I haven't fished the Cuivre in a couple of years, I'm guessing the slough is still accessible from the main channel?

But I always put in at Old Monroe......I may give it a shot this coming weekend.

Do they still have a public ramp in Old Monroe? I thought that it was no longer there?
